2.7 Migrating teleCARE M to Telligence
The Telligence system supports NU-Series passive modules and teleCARE M passive
modules; however, you must consider the power requirements. The NU-series modules
use 5.5VDC power, while the teleCARE M modules use 24VDC power. Use care when
replacing IAM modules with NUPBC modules during the migration to the Telligence
system.
Warning: All modules connected to the NUPBC shall be of the same series of
modules.Connecting NU-series modules to an NUPBC that is powered by 24VDC will
cause damage to the NU-series modules.
When migrating from a system with legacy teleCARE M passive modules to a system
containing the NU-series passive modules, follow the steps below.

1 Ground White/Orange
2 Mic (Tx) Orange
3 Ground White/Green
4 Data a Blue
5 Data b White/Blue
6 Speaker (Rx) Green
7 +5.5V White/Brown
8 +5.5V Brown
