Sterilizer Overview 3
An
internal loudspeaker emits "beep" tones to call for user attention or
indicate errors. A single long beep indicates a successfully completed cycle.
A series
often
short beeps indicates a canceled cycle.
Chamber
The chamber
is
where the load is sterilized. The chamber walls and door
contain heaters that keep the chamber interior warm during operation.
When the chamber door is closed, a vacuum-tight seal is created, allowing
the chamber to be evacuated during operation. A locking mechanism
prevents the door from being opened when a sterilization cycle is
in
progress.
