1. ENGINE TEMPERATURE WARNING LAMP
This lamp illuminates when the key switch (9) is ON, the
engine is running and there is a problem with the engine
temperature. If the lamp illuminates when the engine is
running, stop the engine and check for the problem.
2. NEUTRAL INDICATOR LAMP
This lamp will illuminate when the key switch (9) is ON
and the ground drive control and the digging chain clutch
lever are in the NEUTRAL position.
3. ENGINE OIL PRESSURE WARNING LAMP
This lamp illuminates when the key switch (9) is ON and
the engine is not running or when the engine is running
and there is a problem with the engine oil pressure. If this
lamp illuminates when the engine is running, stop the
engine and check for the problem.
4. HYDRAULIC FILTER WARNING LAMP
This lamp illuminates when the key switch (9) is ON, the
engine is running and the hydraulic fluid is cold or the
filter is in need of service. If this lamp is illuminated after
15 minutes of machine operation during cold weather or
illuminates when the engine is running, stop the engine
and service the filter.
5. HYDRAULIC FLUID TEMPERATURE WARNING LAMP
This lamp illuminates when the key switch (9) is ON and
there is a problem with the hydraulic fluid temperature. If
this lamp illuminates when the engine is running, stop the
engine and check for the problem.
6. DIGGING CHAIN CLUTCH LEVER
Use this lever to start and stop the digging chain. This
lever has two functions:
1. ENGAGE (Start) - Move the lever all the way to the
eight to engage the digging chain clutch.
2. DISENGAGE (Stop) - Move the lever all the way to the
left to disengage the digging chain clutch.
NOTE:
You MUST be seated in the operator’s seat to
ENGAGE the digging chain clutch lever or the engine will
shut down in 5 seconds
.
7. HOUR METER
(If Equipped) - The hourmeter indicates total hours of
engine operation in hours and tenths of hours. Use the
hourmeter to measure the time between machine service
intervals.
