Note:
If the phone you’re using does not have a line button (for example, if the
phone is an internal use only phone with no outside lines assigned to it), you can
receive an outside call and put it on hold. To resume the call that is on hold, touch #
and then *.
If you find that you regularly need to return to a call that is on hold and your phone
does not have line buttons, you can program an “unhold” (Hold Retrieve) button to
use instead of # *. Refer to the Programmable Features section for the procedures
to program and use a Hold Retrieve button.
