When you are enlarging an existing IDF or MDF constructed of terminal blocks other than those in table
7-1,
300-Pair Terminal Blocks, and table 7-2, 1OO-Pair Terminal Blocks, maintain uniformity in the field
by using the same blocks for the expansion that were used for the initial installation. For new
installations, use the previously described terminal blocks.
NOTE: 110A cross-connect blocks cannot accommodate patchcords.
