4OPERATION
4.1 ACTIVATION AND SHUT-DOWN

4.1.2 Labelling
Prerequisites
Label material is inserted.
Machine is switched on.
Material is initialised.
If „OFF“ appears on the operator panel:
£ Repeatedly press the NEXT or PRIOR key until
„ON“ [42A] is shown on the display.
If „ON“ appears on the operator panel [42A]:
£ Press the ENTER [41] key.
The unwinding drive runs for a moment and fills the
loop space with label ribbon [42B].
The unwinding drive runs for a moment until the
dancer arm points upward at an angle of approx.
30° [42C].
The machine is now ready for operation.
If no „ON“ display appears on the operator pan-
el after pressing the NEXT and PRIOR keys:
The machine is possibly in offline mode or
one of the prerequisites for operation has not
been met.
£Instruct a qualified and authorised service
technician to carry out the settings in the con-
figuration menu.

guide.
