5AFTER OPERATION

5.1.1 Cleaning agents
Cleaning agents for rubber rollers:
Roller cleaner, ordering code 98925
If other cleaning agents are used, there is
some risk of dissolving the rubber.
Cleaning agents for adhesive residues:
Label loosening spray
Other cleaning agents:
Isopropyl alcohol
CAUTION!
Isopropyl alcohol is flammable!
£ Keep cleaning agents and used rags
away from open flames and other sourc-
es of ignition.
Isopropyl alcohol vapours can cause head-
aches, nausea, dizziness, or eye irritation.
£ Only use it in well ventilated areas.
£ Do not ingest it.
Prolonged contact with the skin depletes the
skin’s natural oils, which can lead to irrita-
tion.
£ Avoid contact with the skin if possible. If
you have sensitive skin, wear gloves.
CAUTION!
Unsuitable cleaning agents can cause con-
siderable damage to the machine!
£ Do not use cleaning agents that could
damage or destroy the painted surfaces,
lettering, the display, identification
plates, electrical components, etc. Ob-
serve the information provided by the
cleaning agent manufacturer.
£ Do not use abrasive or plastic-dissolving
cleaning agents.
£ Do not use any acidic or alkaline solu-
tions.
5.1.2 Regular maintenance
The labeller is designed to be maintenance-free. Never-
theless, to ensure long-lasting and reliable operating re-
sults, regular maintenance is required.
Depending on operating conditions, at least weekly:
£ Carry out the cleaning and maintenance work de-
scribed in the following.
