ROUTINE MAINTENANCE
 Aenontothemechanicalcomponentsoftheboatareascricalasanymaerinensuringalong,
enjoyableownership.Someboatmaintenanceisrequiredpriortoandfollowingeveryoung,some
must be done on a regular schedule, and some has to be done in accordance with proper storage and
winterizaon.Becauseofthecomplexityofsomecomponents,suchasthefuelsystem,youwillneed
toseekassistancefromanauthorizedAxisdealer’sservicedepartment.Otherissuescanbeeasily
accomplished by the boat operator.
Note that the engine and drive train have maintenance schedules that must be followed also. These
importantdetailsarecontainedintheengineowner’smanual.Besuretoreadandfollowinstruconsthat
appear there.
 ReadandfollowtheguidelinesthatappearintheOwner’sManualtokeepthewarrantyineect,and
toensurethattheboatoperatesproperlylongaerwards.

• Checkforodors,parcularlyfuelodors.

• Becertainthatthebaeryregistersasfullychargedandthatthereissucientfuelforthe
 oung.

• Givetheenginecompartmentageneralinspecon.
• Check the other components.
• Notehowmuchfuelwasusedandthestateofchargeonthebaeries.
• Give the boat a good general cleaning as outlined in the On-Going Careinformaonthat
 precedesthissecon.

• HavetheoilchangedbyyourauthorizedAxisdealer.

maintenance,AxisrecommendsitbecompletedbyyourauthorizedAxisdealer.

 Thisiscricaltothelifeoftheboat.Thesestepsincludeensuringthatallwaterhasbeenevacuated
fromtheboat,thebaeryisproperlystored,andtheboatnishesareprotected.Informaonisalso
providedregardingtheproperliingoftheboatfromthewaterifitwillbestoredatanymebythat
methodinsteadofresngonacustom-builtAxistrailer.
Failure to follow the maintenance instructions provided in this
Owner’s Manual will result in the voiding of the Limited Warranty
explained in its own section of this Owner’s Manual.
