makessense.Youwanttocheckthepaddlewheel,rudder,propeller,andpropellershatomakesurethey
appearintact,too,especiallyifyoususpectthatyoumayhavestrucksomethingsubmergedduringthe
oung.Theseareeasychecksaertheboathasbeenloadedonthetrailerandremovedfromthewater.
 Checkanythingelseontheboatthatdidnotfunconasexpectedduringtheoungandseek
assistancefromyourauthorizedAxisdealeraboutanyconcernsandissuespriortothenextoung.
 Axisrecommendskeepingachartorbinderwithinformaonfromyouroung.Ifyounotethe
condionsduringtheoung,thelengthofme,andthenalreadings,you’llhaveamuchbeerideaof
normaloperaons.Thatgivesyouthecluesyouneedwhenreadingsaredierentoryouareancipang
anoungthatwillbedierentandyouneedtoprepareforthosecondions.

 Ifyouhavenotdonesopreviously,checkthereexnguishersandpersonalotaondevices.Check
thecondionof(andreplaceasnecessary)drainplugs,bilgepumps,andexhaustaps.Repairorreplace
anythingthatappearsdamagedorincapableofperformingitsfuncon.
 HavetheoilchangedbyyourauthorizedAxisdealer.Duetotheenvironmentalconcernsandthe
connedareasinwhichtowork,Axisstronglyencouragesboatownerstohaveoilchangesperformedby
anauthorizedAxisdealer.
AFTER 100 HOURS ON THE
HOURMETER OR ANNUALLY

 Therearecertainmaintenancerounesthatmustbeperformed.Duetothecomplexityofthis
maintenance,AxisrecommendsitbecompletedbyyourauthorizedAxisdealer.
 Yourdealerwillverifymanyfunconsoftheboatforyou,someofwhich,shouldneverbetestedor
checkedbytheconsumer,suchasthepressurizedfuelsystemsthatrequireuniquetools.
 EvenwhentheauthorizedAxisdealerperformstheannualmaintenancework,consumersarewell-
