must be serviced by an authorized Axis dealer as it indicates a recurrent and potenally signicant
problem. Another cause could be a loose electrical connecon to the non-working gauge/switch/
video screen. This maer should be addressed by an authorized Axis dealer.
• If a video screen freezes, presents an unreadable or invalid screen, turn the enre system OFF, includ-
ing the engine electrical system. Allow a few minutes for the system to re-set itself, and try reboong
the system. If the issue persists or another issue arises, take the boat to an authorized Axis dealer for
correcon.
ELECTRICAL
A boat component that is electrically operated will not operate.
• Be certain the engine electrical system is ON. Generally, this requires turning the ignion key ON or
pressing the ON buon.
• Verify that the baery connecons are secure and that there is sucient charge and power. See the
Baery informaon in this Owner’s Manual for addional details.
• Verify that the circuit breaker has not tripped. If it has, reset it. Recurrent trips are indicave of a prob-
lem that requires the aenon of an authorized Axis dealer.
• Check for loose connecons, but do not remove any kick panels to do so. If a loose connecon is sus-
pected but cannot be seen, have the system checked by an authorized Axis dealer.
• If the component is electronic, be certain the component is operaonal. If it requires recepon from a
satellite, tower or other supplier, Axis cannot guarantee that it will receive the signal. It may be neces-
sary to move the boat to another locaon or body of water, or pay a subscripon fee.
Accessories will not recharge in the 12-volt receptacle.
• Verify that the correct charger was used for the item(s) and that the charger plug-in was fully seated
in the 12-volt receptacle.
BATTERY
FAILURE
• Oen, a baery that will not start the boat requires recharging. Use ONLY the Axis-approved baery
charger. Any other can damage the electrical system, and such damage is not covered under warranty.
NEVER aempt to “jump” from a vehicle or another boat as there is a potenal for overload that could
signicantly damage the boat’s electrical system, which is not covered under warranty! Read the bat-
tery informaon provided in the Dash and Gauges secon of this Owner’s Manual before undertaking
any aempt to replace, use both baeries simultaneously, or replace the baery.
ALARMS
The low voltage alarm sounds.
• Most oen, this signals the need to turn OFF and leave OFF the stereo component or similar electronics that
require substanal support from the baeries. Key On the engine and allow the alternator to recharge the bat-
