must be serviced by an authorized Axis dealer as it indicates a recurrent and potenally signicant
problem. Another cause could be a loose electrical connecon to the non-working gauge/switch/
video screen. This maer should be addressed by an authorized Axis dealer.
If a video screen freezes, presents an unreadable or invalid screen, turn the enre system OFF, includ-
ing the engine electrical system. Allow a few minutes for the system to re-set itself, and try reboong
the system. If the issue persists or another issue arises, take the boat to an authorized Axis dealer for
correcon.
ELECTRICAL
A boat component that is electrically operated will not operate.
Be certain the engine electrical system is ON. Generally, this requires turning the ignion key ON or
pressing the ON buon.
Verify that the baery connecons are secure and that there is sucient charge and power. See the
Baery informaon in this Owners Manual for addional details.
Verify that the circuit breaker has not tripped. If it has, reset it. Recurrent trips are indicave of a prob-
lem that requires the aenon of an authorized Axis dealer.
Check for loose connecons, but do not remove any kick panels to do so. If a loose connecon is sus-
pected but cannot be seen, have the system checked by an authorized Axis dealer.
If the component is electronic, be certain the component is operaonal. If it requires recepon from a
satellite, tower or other supplier, Axis cannot guarantee that it will receive the signal. It may be neces-
sary to move the boat to another locaon or body of water, or pay a subscripon fee.
Accessories will not recharge in the 12-volt receptacle.
Verify that the correct charger was used for the item(s) and that the charger plug-in was fully seated
in the 12-volt receptacle.
BATTERY
FAILURE
Oen, a baery that will not start the boat requires recharging. Use ONLY the Axis-approved baery
charger. Any other can damage the electrical system, and such damage is not covered under warranty.
NEVER aempt to “jump” from a vehicle or another boat as there is a potenal for overload that could
signicantly damage the boat’s electrical system, which is not covered under warranty! Read the bat-
tery informaon provided in the Dash and Gauges secon of this Owners Manual before undertaking
any aempt to replace, use both baeries simultaneously, or replace the baery.
ALARMS
The low voltage alarm sounds.
Most oen, this signals the need to turn OFF and leave OFF the stereo component or similar electronics that
require substanal support from the baeries. Key On the engine and allow the alternator to recharge the bat-
