a machinery guard. Clothing or body parts can get caught in moving parts, causing death or serious injury.
Keep away from moving parts.
• Not replace your boat’s marine parts with automove parts or parts that were not designed for your
boat.
• Be aware that baery electrolyte uid is dangerous. It contains sulfuric acid, which is poisonous, corrosive
and causc. If electrolyte uid is spilled or placed on any part of the human body, immediately ush the
area with large amounts of clean water and immediately seek medical aenon.
• Check the ghtness of the tower bolts BEFORE each use. If a tower collapses it may result in injury to boat
occupants or towed persons.
• Not modify the tow bar. The tow pylon/bar is not designed for vercal extensions. Any modicaons to
the tow pylon/bar or its mounngs may result in damage to the boat and injury to the user.
• Only li the boat from approved li points, which are idened in later parts of the manual.
Your safety, the safety of your passengers, and the safety of other boaters is dependent on how you
operate and maintain your boat. As operator or owner of this boat, you are responsible for the safety of
those with and around you while boang.
It is the owner’s responsibility to ensure that the operator of the boat has been properly instructed in the
lawful and safe operaon of this vessel. Therefore, before operang the boat, thoroughly read this owner/
operator manual. Be sure you understand each item before operang it. Improper operaon or trailering of
the boat could lead to severe personal injury or death. Improper operaon or trailering of the boat may also
damage the boat.
The operator and the boat owner assume all risks for themselves, their guests and anyone in proximity to
their boat and ensure that all passengers understand the risks and responsibilies associated with boang.
This manual is not intended to provide complete training on all aspects of boat operaon. We strongly
recommend that all operators of this boat seek addional training on boat handling and safety. Have all
operators become familiar with the handling characteriscs, and proper steering and control system usage
before aempng high-speed operaon.
At the me of delivery, the owner/operator is responsible for:
• Understanding the warranty terms and condions of your boat, your engine, and your trailer.
• Obtaining insurance.
• Examining the boat to ensure the proper operaon of all systems.
Before operang the boat, the owner/operator is responsible for:
• Registering the boat as required in the jurisdicon where the boat is being operated.
• Providing the proper (USCG) safety equipment, and checking local, state and federal agencies as to laws
and regulaons (USCG carriage requirements).
• Carefully reading and understanding safety informaon and proper operang procedures within this
manual.
• Obtaining other boang educaon if you lack operaonal experience.
• Familiarizing yourself with the navigable waters where you intend to operate the boat.
• Following the proper break-in procedure for the engine.
Federal Law requires that all motorboats be registered and that all motorcra not documented by
the U.S. Coast Guard display registraon numbers. In nearly all states, this means registraon with the
designated state agency. In a few jurisdicons, the Coast Guard retains registraon authority. Your dealer
will either supply registraon forms or tell you where they may be obtained. The agency will supply you with
a cercate which must be carried with you when the boat is in operaon. Internaonal laws may vary as to
required registraon.
