Boats;
• damages due to insucient or improper maintenance, lack of maintenance, or delay of repair (unless
specically and directly authorized by Malibu Boats warranty department in wring);
• damage or contaminaon resulng from leaking or spilled uids including, but not limited to, fuel or
drive train uids;
• condions resulng from use of the boat for anything other than recreaonal purposes (note:
commercial use as described in this owner’s manual will aect the length of warranty coverage, please
refer to Secon 6: Commercial Use Exclusions / Restricons for specic details);
• manufacturing variaons or imperfecons in cosmec, convenience or aesthec components or
features of the boat, including the gel coat nish, which have no eect on use or safety;
• damages caused by the use of any trailer purchased through any enty other than Malibu Boats;
• damages caused by improper support of the boat on davits, hoist system or boat li of any kind;
• damages caused by improper weight distribuon or excessive weight combinaons of persons aboard,
ballast or simulated ballast and gear;
• any material, component or part of the boat that has a warranty period and/or condions as specied
by the producing enty which diers from this Limited Warranty;
• damages caused by water intrusion into any part of the boat (including, but not limited to, the glove
box and various storage compartments);
• performance characteriscs, such as speed, acceleraon, fuel or oil consumpon, etc., as they are
esmated and can vary as dictated by individual condions;
• any and all consequenal damages including, but not limited to, costs incurred for haul-out, launching,
towing, storage charges, telephone, expedited shipping of replacement parts, or rental charges of any
type (including slip fees), inconveniences, or loss of me or income;
• components such as Surf Gate™, ns and wedges not installed
at the me of manufacture. Post-manufacture installaon
of any of these items, as well as any other component not
installed at the me of manufacture, will void the warranty
and other components of the boat that have their own
warranty(ies) due to potenal damage to the boat and possible
danger to occupants;
• damage or injury resulng from failure to comply with recall
noces or requests from Malibu Boats to repair the boat or its
components;
• damage or injury resulng from speeding, demonstraon or
any type of racing;
• damages resulng from the failure to properly maintain and
care for the boat and its components in accordance with the
instrucons found within this Owner’s Manual; and
• damages resulng from the use of any non-Malibu Boats
supplied boat cover. (The sole and exclusive approved color
for boat covers oered by Malibu Boats is grey);
• the use, even temporarily, of a non-Axis Boat Trailer will void
the Gel Coat & Powder Coat Limited Warranty.
Secon 4: Trailer
Malibu Boats specically disavows any and all responsibilies
for any trailer not manufactured by Malibu Boats. There is a separate Trailer Owner’s Manual provided
for each Malibu Boats manufactured trailer. The Trailer Owner’s Manual sets forth the terms of the
Trailer Limited Warranty applicable to all Malibu Boats manufactured trailers, and Malibu Boats expressly
disavows any warranty coverage for any Malibu Boats manufactured trailer, which is not expressly set
forth in the Trailer Limited Warranty.
Secon 5: Internaonal Exclusions/Requirements
Imporng or exporng any Axis Boat manufactured in the United States by Malibu Boats (“US Axis
Boat”) into Australia or New Zealand (the act of imporng or exporng any US Axis Boat into Australia
or New Zealand immediately and completely voids any and all coverage provided under this Limited
Warranty and any and all obligaons owed by Malibu Boats relave to the US Axis Boat). This Limited
