4 Testing & Commissioning
The Commissioning Procedure must be followed:
• At first installation to enable the OmniCare EVC System to
“learn” about the system configuration,
• If a Remote Unit has been added, removed or replaced in an
existing system.
4.1 OVERVIEW OF THE COMMISSIONING

ROCEDURE
A brief description of the Commissioning Procedure is as follows:
• Check basic Loop Integrity using a multimeter,
• Configure jumpers on each Master & Slave panel,
• Run the Commissioning Process on the Master Panel to
check the wiring of each Loop and identify Remote Units,
• Connect Batteries & Mains Power,
• Configure and check operation of each Remote Unit.
NOTE: If Baldwin Boxall are contracted to perform the Commission on a
new installation please contact Technical Sales to confirm the required
configuration (i.e Remotes connected, panels connected etc).
