3.2.2.1 Connect Circuit Wiring to Termination Board
The BVOCA Remote Units contain a Termination Board within
the back box that allows the Circuit Cabling to be terminated
seperately, without attaching the Remote Unit.
It is also possible to test the circuit cabling without the Remote
Unit connected, however once the Remote Unit is connected the
jumpers shown in
Figure 3.4 MUST be removed.
1. If possible, before connecting the Remote Units check the
Circuit Cabling for Short Circuits, Open Circuits, shorts to
Ground, and Correct Phasing of all conductors.
2. If not already fitted, mount the supplied back box at each
Remote Unit location.
