5.2 X8 rental truss setup accessories
Truss setup accessories
X8 truss beams are required to set up the X8 rental display in a hanging configuration. Barco offers two sizes of X8 truss beams,
namely the “X8 single truss beam” and the “X8 dual truss beam”. The single truss beam covers a width of one X8 tile and the dual
truss beam covers two tiles. The single truss beam has one hoist point and the dual truss beam has two hoist points to lift up the
display.

WARNING: Maximu m weight lim it ( safe working load) of
the sin gle truss beam is 540 kg, the d ual truss beam
can maximum lift 1080 kg. This weight corresponds with a maximum display height of 13 X 8 rental tiles. Do
not put any additional weight on the truss beam and use the truss beams only in conjunction with Barco’s X8
rental tiles
WARNING: Alw ays secure all truss beams of a h anging X8 rental display with the truss installation. T he
safety cable has to be placed through the inner frame of the truss. Secure each truss with an in depend ent
safety cable.
