10.2 X8 Connection Box diagnostic
Boot-loader diagnostics
The diagnostic segment display consist in four digits (4 x 14 segment) (reference A, B, C & D image 10-1)

The Star boot-loader displays diagnostics on two digits (B & D) on the segment display:
• Segment B:
- 1 : running soft 1
- 2 : running soft 2
• Segment D:
- 0 : before SPI_Init()
- 1 : External RAM check: data line
- 2 : External RAM check: address lines
- 3 : RAM OK, checking flags
- 4 : starting software in test run
- 5 : Failure: Maximum number of test runs reached
- 6 : starting software (normal run)
If run software starts, the last diagnostic will light up briefly, showing which software is running.
If anything fails, the boot-loader enters an endless loop, and the diagnostic stays visible.
When Address is shown on OSD, it is also shown on the segment display.
All digits (segment A+B+C+D) of the segment display are used to show additional information as scrolling text.
