6.2 Set up a hanging X8 rental display
WARNING: Make su re that the truss installation, on which you w an t to han g the X8 rental display, complies
with the local regulations regarding such installations and that the truss installation will be able to support
the complete load of the X8 rental display.
WARNING: The maximum height of a hanging X8 rental display is 13 tiles high.
WARNING: The X8 display in a hanging configuration must be torn down in case winds exceeds Beau fort
force 6 (>50km/hr).
Setup process
1. The first stage in the process is the installation of the truss beams on the truss installation.
2. The second stage in the process is attaching a first row of X8 rental tiles with the truss beams to form one solid row. See chapter
"Installing the X8 truss beam", page 49.
a) Place one tile for a single truss beam or two tiles for a dual truss beam next to each other on a clean floor.
b) Joint the tiles for the dual truss beam sideways with each other (ref 1).
c) Install the single and/or dual truss beams on top of the tiles (ref 2).
d) Lift up the truss beams with tiles and joint the tiles of the neighboring truss beams (ref 3).
e) Joint the truss beams sideways with each other (ref 4).
Caution: Take car e t he tiles do not fall o ver.
