4.10 Shutdown There is no Shutdown mode on the Basil 5700LSR Cage and Rack
Washer. Washer should remain ON at all times except when per-
forming maintenance or repairs, then operator needs to lockout/
tagout main electrical disconnect switch to OFF position.
4.11 Purge Travelers Travelers can be PURGED after cleaning wash chamber spray
headers or whenever necessary.
1. In Mode Selection screen, press MANUAL touch pad.
2. In Manual screen, press PURGE TRAVELERS touch pad.
Purge starts.
NOTE: Purging travelers also purges Rinse Tank (tank 2).
Perform purge before draining tanks.
3. Once purge finishes, press X touch pad until Mode Selection
screen appears.
4.12 Drain Cycle DRAIN cycle can be performed whenever necessary:
After processing a heavily soiled load to evacuate reused water
from wash tank(s);
between different load types (debris pans or feeder bottles, for
example) to evacuate reused water from wash tank(s);
after cleaning wash chamber to rinse off cleaning solution.
IMPORTANT: At the end of a work session, washer should be
completely drained.
1. In Mode Selection screen, press MANUAL touch pad.
2. In Manual screen, press DRAIN touch pad.
3. In Drain screen, press the name of desired tank to drain.
NOTE: It is possible to drain one tank only or select all tanks at
once. In this case, draining will be performed consecutively.
4. Press X touch pad to return to Manual Mode screen.
