5.1 General PLC control of the Basil
®
5700LSR Cage and Rack Washer allows
adjustment of programmed cycles and creation of new cycles. Using
this feature, cycles may be customized to process different types of
loads.
The washer is preprogrammed with five basic cycles: RODENTS,
BOTTLES, RABBITS, PRIMATES and FAST. These cycles are pro-
grammed with default treatments and treatment values.
Control is also capable of storing parameters for up to six custom
cycles. In addition to these eleven programmable cycles, there is a
VHP cycle (option) used for biodecontamination purposes. There is
also a DESCALER preprogrammed cycle that cannot be modified,
used for maintenance purposes.
IMPORTANT: When VHP cycle is present, there are only five cycles
available for custom needs.
Table 5-1 summarizes the cycle default values, treatment parame-
ters and possible parameters for customized cycles.
