6.2 Cleaning
Procedures
NOTE: Always start cleaning unit from load side
6.2.1 Daily Cleaning 1. After last cycle of day, allow unit to cool down.
2. On load side of washer, turn LOCK/UNLOCK/INIT key selector
to LOCK position. Remove key from selector and keep on your-
self. Display shows:
WASHER LOCKED
3. Using a damp cloth, clean door panel and exterior of unit.
4. Using key, turn LOCK/UNLOCK/INIT key selector to UNLOCK
position. Display shows Mode Selection screen.
5. In Mode Selection screen, press DOORS CONTROL touch pad;
then, press DOOR OPEN touch pad to open load side door.
6. On load side of washer, turn LOCK/UNLOCK/INIT key selector
to LOCK position. Remove key from selector and keep on your-
self. Display shows:
WASHER LOCKED
7. Wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), enter
wash chamber by load side.
8. Remove floor gratings.
9. Remove debris from bottom of sump and over suction plate.
NOTE: Always clean sump and suction plate while they are still
wet, before debris dries.
10. Replace floor gratings on bottom of wash chamber.
11. Using key, turn LOCK/UNLOCK/INIT key selector to UNLOCK
position. Display shows Mode Selection screen.
12. For double door units: On unload side of washer, turn LOCK/
UNLOCK/INIT key selector to LOCK position. Remove key from
selector and keep on yourself. Display shows:
WASHER LOCKED
13. Clean washer exterior as in Step 3.
14. Using key, turn LOCK/UNLOCK/INIT key selector to UNLOCK
position. Display shows Mode Selection screen.

MENT DAMAGE HAZARD:
Before servicing or cleaning
unit, always turn LOCK/
UNLOCK/INIT key selector to
lock position to prevent cycle
operation. Keep the key on
yourself.
WARNING – PERSONAL
INJURY HAZARD:
Always wear appropriate
Personal Protective Equip-
ment (PPE), including
gloves and faceshield,
when cleaning or removing
debris from bottom of the
wash chamber and from
sump filters.
Never perform cleaning of
wash chamber until full
cycle has been completed.
If cycle has not been com-
pleted, contaminated
debris or water may remain
in the bottom of wash
chamber.
