29. If Drain Discharge Cooldown option
is present, alarm sounds and screen
displays:
ALARM: WATER
TOO LONG TO COOL
Printer records:
*ALARM WATER
TOO LONG TO COOL
HH:MM:SS YY/MM/DD
Temperature sensed by RTD has not reached setpoint
within specified time.
(Cooldown time-out alarm (02:00) has elapsed before water
temperature in cooldown tank reaches temperature setpoint).
1. Press Silence Buzzer or ACK touch pad to silence
alarm buzzer.
2. Building cold water supply valve not fully open or closed
– Check and open building supply valve as necessary.
3. Not enough building cold water pressure – Call STERIS.*
4. Defective cooldown tank or cold water injection system
inlet valve – Call STERIS.*
5. Cold water temperature too high; not within equipment
drawing specifications – Call STERIS.*
6. If condition reoccurs, call STERIS.*
30. Alarm sounds and screen displays:
ALARM: TANK 2
TOO LONG TO HEAT
Printer records:
*ALARM TANK 2
TOO LONG TO HEAT
HH:MM:SS YY/MM/DD
Temperature sensed by RTD has not reached setpoint
within specified time.
(Water temperature time-out alarm (10:00) has elapsed
before recirculating water temperature reaches setpoint).
1. Press Silence Buzzer or ACK touch pad to silence
alarm buzzer.
2. Building steam supply valve not fully open – Check and
open building steam supply valve as necessary.
3. Not enough building steam pressure on the unit – Call
STERIS.*
4. Tank 2 RTD malfunction – Call STERIS.*
5. Defective heat exchanger steam inlet valve – Call
STERIS.*
6. If condition reoccurs, call STERIS.
