7.5 Camera Power
Camera power must be supplied to the 6-pin connector on the camera via a cable from your power
supply. The nominal operating voltage of the camera is +12 VDC (± 10 %).The required operating
voltage is +12 VDC (- 10 %) to +24 VDC (+ 5 %), effective on the camera‘s connector. Ripple must
be less than one percent. Power consumption is as shown in the specification tables in Section 1
of this manual.
Close proximity to strong electromagnetic fields should be avoided.

NOTICE
Applying incorrect power can damage the camera.
The camera‘s required operating voltage is +12 VDC (- 10 %) to +24 VDC (+ 5 %), < 1 %
ripple, effective on the camera‘s connector, with a nominal operating voltage of +12 VDC (±
10 %).
Applying power with the wrong polarity can severely damage the camera.
Make sure that the polarity of the power applied to the camera is correct. Applying power with
the wrong polarity can severely damage the camera.
NOTICE
An incorrect plug can damage the 6-pin connector.
The plug on the cable that you attach to the camera’s 6-pin connector must have 6 female pins.
