After requesting the user menu, the following basic settings
can be selected on two planes according to your personal pref-
erence.
First plane:
(3 - speed-dependent volume control
!,3telephone characteristics
63 - display colour setting
*+display setting
,+LED setting
F reception optimisation setting
Second plane:
(= - navigation announcement setting
<? - aux input setting
47 - compass display setting
,# - signal tone volume setting
The user menu is requested by pressing the button for
more than 2 seconds.
In order to access the second plane of the user menu, press the
multifunction button.
Press the button again to quit the user menu.

The GAL is a car radio control circuit, which automatically
adjusts the car radio volume according to vehicle speed. This
results in compensation of the driving noise produced at high-
er speeds.
Request the user menu. Press the multifunction button.
Using the right rotary control select either
or R.
With the GAL setting, the start of volume adjustment can be
specified according to vehicle speed.
The setting is stored automatically.
Explanation:
- no volume increase
R - volume is increased at low speed
R - volume is increased at a higher speed
