9.2 Operating mode cycle control
The cycle duration in operating mode „time-dependent“ or „pulse-dependent“ can be defined with the control unit PICO-
tronic.
9.2.1 Operating mode cycle duration time-dependent
time-dependent lubrication of a lubrication cycle: the cycle duration can be set in three different time ranges in hours or
minutes.Themonitoring timeis set bymeans fo theBEKADiSys software (currentversion onBEKAwebsite).
Fig.29:
Setting ranges for cycle time:
0,5to 8 h(16notches à0,5 hours)
1to 16 min.(16notches à1 hour)
2to 32 min.(16notches à2 minutes)
2to 32 h(16notches à2 hours)
Timesettingis doneviathe switchesin the controlunit window (see9.1.3 changeparameter).
9.2.2 Operating mode cycle duration pulse-dependent
The pulse-dependent control of a lubrication cycle counts all incoming pulses of
asignal transmitter(e.g. proximity switchat thelubricationpinion).
If the pulses are missing during a set monitoring time (standard 7 days) the
control unit signals a malfunction (see 12.3 signals of the integrated control unit
PICO-tronic).
The erroris reset when the control unit receives apulse signal again. The cycle is
normallyprocessed.
The control unit connection is done via the left Hirschman plug at the control unit
housingof thepump (fig. 28).

The following additional functions are not available under the operating mode „pulse cycle
dependent“.
· Pressure monitoring inline system(system pressure monitoring)
· Monitoring the linesin thelubrication pump (linerupture)
