7.6 Level monitoring
The central lubrication pump PICO is equipped with a level monitoring. If the reservoir is empty, the follower piston
presses on the plunger. This one actuates the button, that sends a signal to the control unit. The pump is switched off to
avoidthat airis pumped intothe system.

8.1 Function of control unit
The integrated electronic control unit PICO-troniX1 controls progressive central lubrication systems, multi line
lubricationsystems andmixed systems thatare suppliedwithlubricant bythe PICO pump.
8.1.1 General
The integrated electronic control unit PICO-troniX1 operates lubrication cycle dependent. This means the cycle duration
isincluded inthe lubrication duration(pump operating time).
