11.3.2 Filling of the pump
Observe utmost cleanness. Use only clean lubricant. If dirt comes into the pump, the piston of the
pump elements can wear and hence the pump elements are damaged. If dirt gets into the system,
thelines orthe progressive distributorcan block.
A) Standard filling via conical lubrication nipple with manual or pneumatic grease press
Connectthe greasepress with theexisting lubrication nippleand fillup the pumpuntil max. level.(see fig.59).

B) Filling via filling coupling
Remove the lubrication nipple and replace it by a coupling plug for grease (see 17. spare part drawing and 18 spare part
list).
Connectthe fillingpump with thefilling coupling andfill upthe pump tomax. level (seefig. 60).
