10.5.2 Installation of pump element
C) Changethe sealingring (deliveredwith the new pump element). Screw in the pumpelement andtighten itwith the
accordingtorque (fig.50) until therequested position isreached.
Fig.50:
Tightenthepump elements ±10%.PE-5to PE-50with a torqueof 20 Nm
Tightenthepump elements to ±10%.PE-60F PE-170Fand PE-120FVwith atorque of 45Nm
D) Putthe plug onagain (pos. 1,fig. 51).

Start a test operation. Have the pump operated with open outlet until lubricant comes out without air inclusions. This
avoidsthat airis pumped intothe system.
