11.3.1 First filling of pump

The central lubrication pump PICO is filled with a commercial grease pump (hand lever pump) via the filling nipple at the

pumphousing.

Observe utmost cleanness. Use only clean lubricant. If dirt comes into the pump, the piston of the

pump elements can wear and hence the pump elements are damaged. If dirt gets into the system,

thelines orthe progressive distributorcan block.

Connectthe pumpaccording to theterminal diagram (seeelectric documentation10.3 electric connection).

Turnthe pumpupside down (Fig.54).
