Cause
Solution
Cleaning Hubs not
spinning
Mechanical failure may be
possible
Electrical failure
Check to see if bearings are seized up. If
so, see replacement parts.
Check motor starter
Cleaning Hubs will not
extend and/or retract
Faulty electrical signal
Connection of Extend and
Retract Airlines to Air Panel
and Arm Cylinders
Check electrical signal
Verify that the extend and retract airlines
are properly and securely connected at
the air panel and arm cylinders
Inadequate Chemical
/Water spray
Clogged nozzles
Clean nozzles by removing nozzle bodies
and tapping or inserting a thin wire into the
nozzle opening
Excessive vibration
Floor lags may be loose
Bearing may need replacing
Make sure that the SpinLite® Full Side
Washer is tightly lagged to the floor
Check for play in the pivot arm bearings,
if sloppiness is evident, bearings will
have to be replaced. See replacement
parts
LEDs not working
Wire connections not seated
properly
Pins in wire connectors may
be bent
Water inside electrical
connections
Wear on wires from hub
skins
Make sure all the electrical connections
between the cable, slip ring, wire harness,
and LEDs are aligned and seated
properly
Check to make sure that the pins in the
connectors are not bent
Apply dielectric grease to the electrical
receptor and reconnect the connectors
Wrap the connections with electrical tape
to protect them from the car wash
elements
Verify all wires are secured to the
driveshaft and there is adequate
clearance between the wires and hub
skins to prevent wear on the wires
