Maintenance
Motor Gearbox and Torque Plate Replacement
Remove Motor Gearbox & Torque Plate Assembly
6) Disconnect the Motor Wire leads from Terminal Block and loosen the Cord Grip to remove the
Motor Cable from the Junction Box.
Note: Wires are located behind the terminal strip and will need to be pulled back out through the
plastic Cord Grip fitting at the top or bottom of the Junction Box.
Note: The plastic Cord Grip fitting at the top or bottom of the Junction Box will need to be loosened
or removed to pull the wiring down through the base of the Motor Cover.
Note: The Terminal Block may need to be removed from the side of the Motor for additional access.
Use a Phillips screwdriver.
7) Remove the electrical tape around the Slip Ring electrical connection. Disconnect the LED
Cable lead from the Slip Ring.
8) Pull the Motor Cable and LED Cable leads out through the bottom of the Motor Cover Base.
Remove the electrical
tape around the
connection.

Receptor.

Cable out through the bottom of
the Motor Cover Base.

remove the Motor Cable
from the Junction Box.
