6.6.5 Unlocking the CT plug
The following illustration shows how to unlock the CT plug:
CAUTION
Risk of damage when pulling out the CT plug!
If the CT plug is pulled out using too much force, the enclosure and the in-
ternal components may be damaged.
Use needle-nose pliers to unlock the CT plug.
6.6.6 Charging
After ensuring that a vehicle has been successfully connected to the charging system,
charging is initiated by holding an RFID card, registered with the backend system, close
to the RFID module. Charging starts when the contactor is switched on to provide power
flow. The charge controller enables two modes of operation:
Authorisation BEFORE connecting
Initial state: The green LED lights continuously meaning the charging system is free
(RFID110-L1 only).
Step 1
Hold the RFID card close to the RFID reader.
The charging system will then display "Authorisation in progress".
If the RFID110-L1
module is installed, then the yellow LED blinks
slowly and the white LEDs are illuminated to show a circular light
pattern.
Step 2
If authorisation is successful:
If the RFID110-L1
module is installed, the blue charging system
LED will blink quickly, indicating that the vehicle can now be con-
nected.
Alter-
native
step 2
If authorisation is not successful:
If the RFID110-L1
module is installed, all three charging system
LEDs blink briefly to indicate an error.
The display then changes to show that the charging system is
„Free“ and the green LED lights continuously.
Step 3
The vehicle is connected to the charging system within 45 seconds.
If the RFID110-L1
module is installed, a slow blinking blue LED
indicates that the vehicle is charging.
Alter-
native
step 3
The vehicle is not connected to the charging system within 45 seconds.
If the RFID110-L1
module is installed, the display changes to indi-
cate that the charging system is „Free“ and the green LED lights
continuously.
