be used. The fabric feeds better
Corded Buttonholes
General
► cord reinforces and enhances the appearance of
buttonholes with raised beads
► the loop of the cord should be at the end of the button-
hole most subject to wear = where the button rests
► position the work accordingly
Ideal Cords
► perle cotton no. 8
► strong hand-sewing thread
► fine crochet yarn
Keyhole Buttonholes
► mark the bead length only
► the correct eye length will be added when the button-
hole is sewn
