Maintain straight and level, constant airspeed
flight until attitude displays recover
(approximately 30 seconds).
The primary attitude displays stay failed and the
SET IRS HDG prompt on the POS INIT page is
blank until the attitude mode alignment is
complete.
28 Enter magnetic heading on the POS INIT page or
on the overhead IRS display unit by selecting
HDG/STS.
29 The MAP display is not available.
30 Do not engage either autopilot.
31 Choose one:
APU DETECTION INOPERATIVE ►►8.14
▼Loss Of Thrust On Both Engines continued▼
Action is irreversible. Do this step only if both
the captain’s and first officer’s primary attitude
displays are failed.

Note: Periodically enter updated heading on the
POS INIT page or on the overhead IRS
display unit by selecting HDG/STS.
Both engines are running:
Run the APU as needed.
