Flap lever is set to 30:
Set VREF 30.
Note: VREF + wind additive must not
exceed the flap placard speed for
flaps 40.

Flap lever is set to 15 or 25:
Set VREF 15.
Note: VREF + wind additive must not
exceed the flap placard speed for
the next larger flap setting.

Flap lever is set to 1 or greater and less than
15:
Consider burning off fuel to reduce
touchdown speed.
Set VREF 40 + 30 knots.
