18 Open the flight deck door.
19 During daylight:
Use flight deck window shades, as needed.
Instruct the cabin crew to close cabin window
shades.
20 Instruct the cabin crew to:
Dim cabin lighting.
Turn off in-flight entertainment systems.
21 GALLEY switch . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . OFF
22 When at level off:
Maintain 290 knots minimum. Flight deck and
passenger cabin temperatures can increase
rapidly at speeds below 290 knots.
23 Choose one:
24 PACK switch (operating pack) . . . . . . . . . . . OFF
PT804 - PT817
25 Pressurization mode selector . . . . . . . . . MAN DC
