What to do if a Keyswitch zone trouble won't clear on my Bosch DS7240-UK?
    • K
      Kristina RayAug 12, 2025
If a Keyswitch zone trouble on your Bosch Cell Phone doesn't clear even when the zone returns to normal, it might be due to Swinger Shunt not being enabled on the Zone Function. To resolve this, arm and then disarm the panel to clear the current trouble. To prevent this from happening again, verify the Keyswitch Zone Function programming and ensure that the Swinger Shunt feature is disabled.

      Shawn GarciaAug 19, 2025
If you have a tamper trouble on a zone of your Bosch Cell Phone that you can't clear by entering the Installer PIN and then pressing the [System Reset] key, the zone might be bypassed. To fix this, press the [Bypass] key to manually unbypass the zone. Then, enter the Installer’s PIN, and press the [System Reset] key.

Why does my Bosch DS7240-UK not arm when I enter a valid PIN?
    • P
      Phillip FisherAug 27, 2025
If you enter a valid PIN to arm an Area on your Bosch Cell Phone, but the Area doesn't arm, it could be due to a couple of reasons. First, ensure that at least one zone is programmed for each Area. Second, verify that the user attempting to arm the system has the appropriate Authority Level.

Why does my Bosch DS7240-UK Cell Phone keep switching to Perimeter Only after arming All On?
    • E
      Erin HolmesSep 4, 2025
If your Bosch Cell Phone panel keeps changing to Perimeter Only after you've armed it All On, it's likely because the “All On-No Exit” arming option is enabled. This means that when the panel was armed, no one triggered an Exit Delay zone, so the panel didn't arm those internal zones.
