49.1.1 Parameter Description
Use this parameter to select the tone for the 16 different Personal Dialing Format event groups.
For each event group, the report is programmed as a value from 0 to 15. If 0 (zero) is programmed, no report is sent and the
event is a Local Only event. If the value is non-zero (1-15), the two-digit report tone sent is selected using the following table:
Data Digt Selection Report Tone Data Digt Selection Report Tone
0 None 8 2 2
1 1 0 9 3 1
2 1 1 10 4 0
3 2 0 11 1 4
4 1 2 12 2 3
5 2 1 13 3 2
6 3 0 14 4 1
7 1 3 15 5 0
For example, if Data Digit Selection “5” is entered, the following report tone is transmitted (“-“ equals 1 beep): -- -. There is a
1-second pause between the transmission of the first digit and the second digit. The second digit is followed by a 3-second
pause. The panel repeats the report for a total of ten times.
Address 3414 holds the tone for Event Group 1; Address 3429 holds the tone for Event Group 16. To change an event group’s
report tone, enter the data digit selection number from the table above into the appropriate programming address.
