2.0 Installation
6. Connect the FPT-DACT to the FACP using the conduit (see Figure 6).
The FACPs using open collector outputs must be compatibility listed. When using conduit within
20 ft (6 m), configure the inputs for non-supervised operation. The FPT-DACT can be installed up to
500 ft (152 m) from the FACP.
1 - FACP
2 - Enclosure knockouts
3 - Conduit
4 - Use no more than 500 ft (152 m) of wire to connect the FACP and the FPT-DACT.
