The XM4x controls are compact controls in the medium-performance range with
integrated interfaces of Ethernet, Sercos and S20 local bus.
The XM4x controls are designed for a fast processing of control tasks. The XM4x
controls can be networked via the Ethernet interface and connected to the drive
modules via the Sercos interface. The XM4x controls can be extended for vari-
ous control tasks using S20 modules and extension modules.
The XM4x controls are available in the following firmware variant:
1. XM4x with initial firmware

LEDs and operating elements
To operate and for the error diagnostics, there are multiple PEDs, an operation
mode switch and a "Reset" button on the front side of the IndraControl XM42
