tures. The buffer time of the real-time clock depends on the ambient tempera-
ture and the operating time of the control.
Operating time of the control at ambient temperature
Buffer time of the clock
①
5 years at 50 °C permanent Typ. 10 days
7 years at 50 °C permanent Typ. 7 days
10 years at 50 °C permanent Typ. 4 days
2.5 years at 60 °C permanent Typ. 10 days
3.5 years at 60 °C permanent Typ. 7 days
5 years at 60 °C permanent Typ. 4 days
① Accuracy of ±1 s/d at 25 °C
Tab. 12-6: Buffer time of the real-time clock depends on the ambient temperature and on
the operating time of the control
It is recommended to set the time via SNTP.
Use a battery for longer buffer times. A battery can increase the buf-
fer time of the real-time clock by approximately five years. See also
chapter 10.8 "Battery" on page 30.
13 Error causes and troubleshooting
The following table describes the LEDs on the power connector.
LED LED display Error causes and troubleshooting
U
L
LED is off 24 V voltage errors:
● 24 V supply voltage is not connected
● 24 V supply voltage is connected with reverse polarity
U
INT
LED is off Internal voltage error; XM4 defective
ON LED red Error when loading the programmable logic.
● Initiate fallback mode (see chapter 12.5 "Fallback and recovery"
on page 56)
TEMP LED is red Temperature error.
Control was switched off due to overheating.
● Ensure a lower ambient temperature
● Check the control installation
● Avoid heat accumulation impeding the natural convection

Further operating displays and error displays are located on the individual mod-
ules and terminals. For information on the other displays, refer to the manual of
the IndraControl S20 component (see also chapter 1.3 "Related documents" on
