6.2.12 Terminal boxes
Danger to life by high electric voltage!
● Follow the general installation and safety regulations when working on power
installations.
● Before start-up, connect the protective conductors on all electric components
according to the connection plan.
● Install the covers and guards provided for this purpose before switching on.
Lock all openings of the terminal box with dummy plugs and close the termi-
nal box with the intended terminal box lid.
● Never touch electrical connection points of the components while power is
turned on.
Observe when connecting the terminal box:
● Connect or disconnect clamp connections only in de-energized, dry and clean
state.
● Connect the motor to reade-made connection cables.
● Remove sScrew-type blank cap "X" at the cable entry side.
● Select and tighten the cable gland according to the manufacturer´s details
about cable diameters.
● The connections must be established such that a permanent safe electrical
connection is ensured.
● Establish a safe protective conductor connection.
● After connecting, lock all openings.
