Convert from Serial Data
To change serial data to constant data:
1. In the Editor, touch the serialized text element or barcode element that you want converted
to constant data.
2. For a text element, touch More Options.
OR
For a barcode, touch Change Barcode .
3. Touch Set Data Source .
4. In the Set Data Source dialog box, touch Constant .
If you are changing a barcode to constant data, the barcode dialog box opens. You are given
the option to change the data value. If you do not change the data value, it defaults to the value
shown in the Data value box.
5. Touch OK .
The element changes to fixed (non-serialized) data.
Convert from Date/Time to Constant
To convert a date/time element to constant data:
1. Touch the date or time element.
2. Touch More Options, then touch Set Data Source .
3. Touch Constant .
The date/time is converted to editable data.
