3) Align the thread take-up crank Q) with the
tapered bore of the upper shaft 0 and attach it
with its screw@ and set screw@.
4) Adjust the upper shaft 0 with the thread take-
up crank
Q) and the set collar 6 so that there is
no end play and check that the upper shaft 0
lightly rotates. Then check the screw flat and
tighten the screw of the set collar 6.
5) Adjust the intermittent presser cam 0 and
bobbin winder pulley 0 so that there is 0.5 mm
space between them, then tighten the set
screw of the bobbin winder pulley 0.
6) Align thethread trimmer cam @ with the screw
flat of the upper shaft 0, then tighten the set
screw.
7) Align the crank rod assembly CD on the marker
line and attach the crank rod assembly CD to the
upper shaft 0 with the screw.
