(8) Move the head/carriage unit to the left end of its travel by hand (to a position where the entire
head/carriage unit can be seen).
(9) Insert a flathead screwdriver into the square opening of the head cover and release the latch in
the direction shown in the figure below. Release the other three latches to remove the head
cover.
