(7) Open the document scanner unit at around 90 degrees then pull it backwards.

Assembling Note When mounting the ADF unit onto the document scanner unit, insert a 2 to 3
cm thick magazine or paper bundle in between to ensure the movement of harnesses. Do not
place objects that can scratch or stain the document cover glass.
(9) Turn the ADF hinge slightly and remove it from the ADF unit
