Check that the correct printer driver has been installed and selected.

Check that the machine is online:
• Windows
1. Hold down the
key and press the key on the computer's
keyboard to launch Run.
2. Type "control printers" in the Open: field and click OK.
The Devices and Printers window appears.
If the Devices and Printers window does not appear, click View more
devices > More devices and printer settings.
3. Right-click your model's icon, and then click See what's printing.
4. If printer driver options appear, select your printer driver.
5. Click Printer in the menu bar and make sure Use Printer Offline is not
selected.
• Mac
Click the System Preferences or System Settings menu, and then select
the Printers & Scanners option. When the machine is offline, delete it, and
then add it.
Look through the ink tank's window to confirm the actual amount of remaining
ink.
If the remaining ink level is at or below the lower line under the minimum fill mark,
refill the ink tank.
