COOLING SYSTEM
PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE SERVICING
Remove the pressure valve components.
Inspection
Inspect all components for cracks, heat damage,
or signs of corrosion. Replace damaged compo-
nents. Clean all debris from pressure relief valve
components.
Assembly
Assembly is essentially the reverse of disassem-
bly. Pay close attention when performing the fol-
lowing additional tasks.
Torque cap screws to 60 to 84 in. lbs. (7 to 9.5
N·m).
