10.4.1 Primary Calibration
DPLA annually performs hundreds of primary calibrations, on reference microphones and
accelerometers, for national metrology institutes, test institutes and for organisations in the
industry requiring absolutely minimum variation in sensitivity over time.
10.4.2 Secondary Calibration
If your sensitivity requirements are on a step lower than primary calibration, we recommend
that you have two or more reference instruments calibrated with annual, accredited calibra-
tion in the ISO 17025 certified laboratory at Brüel & Kjær. This is typically performed for
industrial companies who have in-house calibration.
