5.2 Portable PULSE Type 3560-C
Type 3560-C front-ends comprise a battery/DC-powered Type 2827 power supply unit,
which can hold one Controller module and one Input/Output module (see Table 4.1). The
front-end is connected to the PC via the LAN Interface located on the Controller module.

5.2.1 Configuration
Portable Data Acquisition System Type 3560-C is always configured at Brüel & Kjær before
delivery.
5.2.2 Power Supply
Portable Data Acquisition System Type 3560-C can be powered by one or two Nickel-Metal
Hydride batteries (available separately, Brüel & Kjær order no. QB-0048) or from a 10 –
32 V DC power supply. It can also be powered using the 100 – 240 V AC Mains to DC
power supply/battery charger ZG-0429, which is provided with Type 3560-C.
The working time for continuous operation with two batteries is dependent on configuration,
but with a controller module and input/output module is typically 2½ hours.
