CAUTION!
Risk of injury by tripping over the power cable!
Risk of tripping exists if the power cable is not laid
properly. This can lead to falls and injuries.
Lay the power cable in a manner that there is no
risk of tripping.
NOTICE!
Risk of property damage due to incorrect place-
ment of the humidifier!
If the humidifier is operated on floors that are not mois-
ture-resistant, the floor may be damaged.
Only set up the humidifier on moisture-resistant
flooring.
Use a safety collecting basin (

8.7 “Safety collecting basin” on page 72) to pro-
tect from leaking water.
Never place the device near furnishings that
absorb water (for example, curtains, wallpaper, or
carpets).
2.5 Responsibilities of the operator
The operator is the person who operates the humidifier for indus-
trial or commercial purposes, or provides a third party with the use/
application and bears the legal product responsibility during opera-
tion for the protection of the user, personnel, or third parties. If the
humidifier is used for commercial or industrial purposes, the fol-
lowing operator obligations must be observed.
If the device is used for commercial purposes, the operator is sub-
ject to work safety regulations.
In addition to the safety instructions in this manual, the valid safety,
accident prevention and environmental protection regulations must
be adhered to for the application area of the humidifier.
In particular, the following applies:
n The operator must clearly define and regulate responsibilities
for installation, operation, troubleshooting, and cleaning.
n The operator must ensure that all persons who handle the
device have read and understood this manual.
n The operator must provide the personnel with the necessary
protective gear and instruct that wearing the required protective
gear is mandatory.
n The operator must ensure that the cleaning intervals described
in this manual are observed.
